DESCRIPTION

003, also known as “Tooth Fairy”, is a humanoid entity made entirely of teeth of various types and from various animals. When its structure is complete it measures approximately 1.87 m. The entity is composed solely of dental pieces joined together without the presence of an identifiable support; the mechanism by which the teeth remain cohesive and what exactly grants it a mobile structure is unknown. When moving it produces a faint friction sound similar to porcelain constantly rubbing, audible even from several meters away in silent environments. The teeth that make up 003 can be removed through the use of force; however, once removed they cannot be reattached to its structure. As a replacement, 003 uses the teeth of other beings, which can be inserted into its body, apparently integrating immediately without a visible adaptation process. If the Tooth Fairy lacks a stable amount of dental pieces it will become aggressive and will seek the nearest animal, beginning to produce throughout its body a gel-like substance, transparent and of a very soft purple color. When consumed it produces an immediate fainting effect. 003 will attempt to force animals to consume the substance and, if successful, will remove the victim’s teeth and integrate them into its body until satisfied or, failing that, until the victim has no teeth left; in the latter case it will repeat the search process until satisfied.

Despite the fact that 003’s face lacks distinguishable eyes, the entity demonstrates the ability to perfectly perceive its surroundings, reacting even from blind angles from which a being with a normal range of vision could not. The mouth-shaped opening is immobile and apparently useless, since 003 is incapable of articulating coherent words or consuming food with it. It occasionally emits brief clicks produced by the rubbing between dental pieces. The Tooth Fairy shows generally passive behavior when it possesses a sufficient amount of teeth, remaining motionless for long periods in the area it inhabits, adopting postures similar to those of a human fetus. It avoids unnecessary contact with its own body and rarely interacts physically with its environment if not necessary, apparently to avoid the accidental loss of pieces. The entity shows a marked dislike for intense light. When exposed to direct spotlights, medical lighting, concentrated sunlight, or strong light in general for short periods, 003 reacts by covering its facial area with its limbs and partially retracts its structure, involuntarily releasing multiple teeth and placing itself in a fetal position until the light source disappears or stops functioning. Prolonged exposure to light produces the opposite effect, generating a significant increase in 003’s aggressiveness. During these states of aggression mobility increases considerably and its movements become fast and direct, abruptly attempting to attack the light sources until they break. After destroying them, the entity usually remains motionless staring into nothing for several minutes before returning to its usual passive state. It is hoped that 003's special gel can be sold as a stronger substitute for common anesthesia.

DISCOVERY

The first record related to 003 emerged from multiple complaints reported at a veterinary clinic in Boston. Initially, the reports described several shelter animals disappearing for days and later being found unconscious, without visible wounds and lacking all of their dental pieces. No traces of blood nor signs of conventional surgical extraction were detected; the gums appeared smooth, as if the teeth had never been present. In several cases, the animals woke hours later showing severe disorientation and difficulty feeding. Local authorities initially attributed the events to illegal trafficking of biological parts, until similar incidents began to be recorded in humans. The affected individuals reported a sweet taste in the mouth before losing consciousness and, upon waking, presented the complete or partial absence of their teeth without damage to lips, tongue, or jaw. The home cameras of one of the victims captured during the early morning a motionless humanoid figure in the room for approximately three hours. The entity remained under the victim’s bed without moving; when the civilian lay down and fell asleep, the entity came out from under the bed and began producing a strange substance which it later introduced into the mouth of the sleeping subject. After this, the cameras failed. The department intervened after the material spread, and a reconnaissance team inspected the residence. The entity was found in a closet in a fetal position, surrounded by human and animal dental pieces scattered on the floor. The room remained intact and without signs of forced entry nor traces of the civilian who had been attacked. Once transferred to the warehouse in which it would be contained, the entity remained motionless for more than 18 consecutive hours.

PROTOCOLS

003 is housed in a medium-security warehouse due to its varying levels of aggressiveness. The fairy’s containment room is equipped with surveillance systems designed to see in the dark and must remain in complete darkness at all times to keep 003 active but calm. The room also has a lighting system that can be activated remotely, all in order to keep it contained. In the event that 003 begins to lose a large number of teeth, new teeth of animal origin will be provided so it can complete itself and return to its passive state.
