INTRODUCTION
Welcome to the Cryptology Department, a project dedicated to the containment of dangerous, paranormal, and inexplicable anomalies under the command of the Red Room. You have been hired to intercept sightings of interest in various locations throughout multiple expeditions around the world. Do not expect these missions to be quick or simple; since most of the time each operation is unique and presents unpredictable risks. During these missions you will encounter different types of errors in reality and must secure them for investigation regardless of the cost, unless doing so directly interferes with the primary objective of the expedition. The main objective of the department is the investigation of cryptids: entities, places, objects, or phenomena that can be considered anomalies within reality; we seek to understand these anomalies in order to obtain the greatest possible profit in the near future. The fulfillment of these responsibilities resides in the actions of the exterminators, brave men and women who fight day after day against the forces that stalk this world. Many contractors offer rewards for the hunting of any cryptid detected in their territories; said reports are intercepted by the Red Room, providing great opportunities for exterminator teams to receive substantial rewards in exchange for their sacrifice. It is crucial to keep in mind that cryptids are not only completely unique beings: they may also be objects, places, or previously normal lifeforms, modified until reaching a point of no return.
